Symptoms

  • Numbness, tingling, or burning sensation in the thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers
  • Weakness or clumsiness in the hand
  • Pain or aching in the wrist or hand

Congenital Hand Deformities

Abnormalities in the structure or function of the hand present at birth.

Causes & Risk Factors

  • Genetic factors
  • Environmental factors during pregnancy (e.g. exposure to certain medications or substances)
  • Developmental issues during foetal growth

Symptoms

  • Malformed or missing fingers or parts of the hand

Dupuytren's Contracture Disease

A condition where abnormal thickening and tightening of connective tissue in the hands cause fingers to bend inward.

Symptoms
